Uterine polyps can cause spotting between periods, prolonged spotting after a period, or bleeding with sex. They are most often benign. Polyps are diagnosed by history along with ultrasound, saline infusion sonogram or hysteroscopy. We can remove polyps in an outpatient setting and you'll go home the same day. Typically only 1 or 2 days are needed to recover. You won't have any scars or stitches. Learn more from Dr Khraizat or Dr Bui at Michigan Women's Care.
