Uterine polyps can cause spotting between periods, prolonged spotting after a period, or bleeding with sex. They are most often benign. Polyps are diagnosed by history along with ultrasound, saline infusion sonogram or hysteroscopy. We can remove polyps in an outpatient setting and you'll go home the same day.
