Son of a bitch! Apparently, I had an avulsion fracture in my ankle! Now I have to get an ultrasound to assess the soft tissue damage. At least I now know the source of my ongoing heel issues. It's too bad I don't remember doing anything to my ankle that would cause the ligament to tear away like it did.
